Akal means earth, land, in Tamazight. It is where we come from, and it is what these nights are about.
Around Tamri, people still live from the sea, the land and their animals. Akal is our way of sharing that life with a few guests at a time.
You sleep in a private tent, and for one night you are close to a fisherman, a farmer, a shepherd, or to the quiet of the dunes and the summit. There is no stage and no show: you share the meal, the fire and the morning with the people who live here.
AKAL is not a camp. It is a night spent inside someone else's way of life.
the nights
Each night is a different lifestyle. Tell us the one that attracts you.
The place changes from one night to the next: the summit above the ocean, the sand dunes, a fishing village, a farm, a nomad family and their goats. You tell us what attracts you and we arrange it: the tent, the meals and the people are part of it.
Your tent is private, just for your group, with mattresses and warm blankets.

Akal is near Tamri, on the Atlantic coast of Morocco, about 40 minutes by road from Agadir. We can arrange the transfer when you write to us.
