Targant is the female argan tree: the one that gives seeds, and the one that gives shade.
Beside a big old argan tree stood a small cabin. It was where my grandfather rested from the hard sun when he took shelter with his herd of goats.
We are rebuilding it in the same place, under the same tree. Targant will be a quiet cabin to stay in, simple and close to the land, where the shade comes first.
Targant is a place that remembers the shade.
