Fishing the Atlantic Shore

Walk down to the shore with a local fisherman at low tide. Depending on the day and the sea, you will fish with a rod from the rocks, collect mussels from the rock pools, and learn the traditional way of hunting octopus. Everything you bring back is cleaned and cooked on the beach over a fire, served with fresh bread, salad and mint tea. You will also learn how locals read the tide and the sea before they decide what to do that day. Nothing is guaranteed about the catch, and that is part of the experience. Duration: about 4~5 hours including the beach meal. Start time: it follows the tide, so we confirm the exact time with you after you book. Good to know: the rocks are slippery, so bring closed shoes with grip, a warm layer and clothes you do not mind getting wet. If the sea is too rough, we move the trip to another day or refund it.
